Home buyer

As a home buyer, do you pay commission for a Real Estate agent?
This is a common misconception and concern. If you are purchasing a home, the short answer is no. The commission is paid by the seller of the home.

Do you offer financing?
As a real estate agent, I do not work in the financing area. I stick strictly to helping you purchase your new home. I do however have many partners and references I can provide you if you need help with financing. 

Should I talk with a mortgage lender before looking at homes?
Yes, getting pre-approval is the first step in your home buying experience. This helps us look in the correct price range for which you're approved.

I own a home, should I buy another before selling my current home?
Every situation is different, it would be best to contact me so we can review options for this.

Do I really need a Realtor
Yes. It is always in your best interest to have a professional representative when searching for a home and negotiating the purchase. When buying a home, there is no fee on your end for the realtors service, it is a win-win situation. 

Who pays the Realtor fees
One reasons why buyers ask the question about the need of having a Realtor when buying a home is because they don’t understand who pays the Realtor fees when buying a home. There are no guarantees, however, in most cases the seller pays the Realtor fees.

When is the best time to sell your home?
There is no correct answer, there is always a need for homes throughout the year. There are however peak times to sell your home which are typically in the spring and summer seasons. 

What steps should I take to prepare my home for sale?
It is always best to reach out to me directly so we can work together on getting your home ready to list before making changes or spending money that may not benefit your home value. 

How much is my home worth?
Please contact me directly and I can do a free market analysis for you to get the ball rolling. 

How long does the listing agreement last?
This is one thing that is negotiable, however the standard listing is 6 months. 

How much commission do you charge?
Because there are many variables please contact me for more information on commission. One thing to note, if you are listing your home you do not pay me until the home has been sold.
